As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $29.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and incident details to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or hazardous conditions.
• Complete required activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
