Breast Imaging Radiologist
South Central Region—FACULTY POSITION • Bloomington, INDIANA

Up to $100,000 signing bonus! No weekends!


The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences in partnership with Indiana University Health invites applications for Breast Imager with fellowship training or community radiologist with heavy breast imaging experience to join our expanding breast imaging section at Indiana University. This is an opportunity to practice in a collaborative, high-performing department / shape clinical care, education, and culture at one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers.

Practice Highlights
Join one of the largest breast imaging sections in the Midwest, with 14 dedicated breast imaging radiologists across a multi-hospital network.
Provide high-quality, comprehensive breast imaging care to patients throughout southern Indiana and help improve access to specialized breast care in the community.

Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation (salary + benefits) estimated starting at approximately $650,000+ for assistant professor and above, with ample opportunities for supplemental income.

This position is eligible for a signing bonus up to $100,000!

Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
Perform and interpret image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic, ultrasound-guided and MRI-guided breast biopsies
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and contribute to educational initiatives across the department.

Basic Qualifications

Qualifications
• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology
Clinical training or experience in breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
Breast imaging fellowship or community radiologist with equivalent experience with a strong commitment to breast imaging with MQSA qualification, collaborating closely with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
Experience performing and interpreting image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, and MRI-guided breast biopsies
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Indiana.
