Assistant Project Manager Intern

Ahern is a mechanical and fire protection contractor offering an internship focused on hands-on project management experience. The Assistant Project Manager Intern will assist Project Managers with estimating takeoffs, assembling proposals, and managing projects through materials requisitioning and project meetings.

What you'll do:

• The Assistant Project Management Intern will work closely with various Project Managers assisting with estimating takeoff, assembling finished proposals, and managing projects
• You can expect to learn how our computerized estimating software works, and how to pull together a finished, accurate estimate
• After projects are acquired, you will be involved in all phases of managing the work – from requisitioning materials to project meetings and more

What they're looking for:

• Ideal candidates should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Construction Management field
• Candidate should be knowledgeable of MS Word, Excel, and have good computer skills in general
• Ideal candidate will be entering their junior year of school
• Candidates should be self-motivated, career driven, customer service focused and able to grasp information quickly
