About this role
Jazwares, LLC is a global toy manufacturer seeking an Associate AI Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technical AI teams. The role focuses on identifying AI use cases, translating business needs into technical requirements, assessing data readiness, measuring business value, and supporting AI proofs of concept and rollouts.
What you'll do:
- Conduct structured discovery interviews across Legal, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Product, and IT to surface AI use cases and capture critical pain points
- Translate complex business needs into technically actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for data scientists and engineers
- Document current-state workflows, evaluate decision logic, and map proposed future-state processes that successfully incorporate AI and machine learning components
- Assess data readiness by identifying required data sources, data owners, system gaps, and quality issues essential for planned AI initiatives
- Quantify the expected business value of AI projects in terms of time savings, cost avoidance, and operational efficiency while defining clear KPIs to measure outcomes
- Support proofs of concept and pilots through rigorous user testing, feedback collection, and launch readiness validation before broader rollout
- Partner cross-functionally to coordinate multi-stakeholder projects, track risks, and produce executive-ready summaries that drive leadership decisions
What they're looking for:
- 0 to 2 years of experience in business analysis, operations analysis, consulting, product operations, or digital transformation
- Proven ability to interview cross-functional stakeholders, elicit clear requirements, and translate business needs into technical specifications
- Exceptional data literacy and analytical reasoning skills with a high comfort level for tackling data-heavy business problems and evaluating data quality
- Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex dataset structuring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust tone and depth across technical, business, and executive audiences
- A highly curious, adaptable, and structured thinker who thrives in ambiguous, early-stage problem spaces and takes full ownership of project outcomes
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Operations, Engineering, or a highly related field
- Prior experience in the consumer products, toy, retail, supply chain, or e-commerce industries
- Foundational understanding of core Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Model (LLM) concepts
- Working familiarity with SQL, BI platforms (Sigma, Power BI, Tableau), and project management tooling (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Lucidchart)
- Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, POS, CRM, DAM, PIM) and Agile project methodologies
