About this role
Medline is a healthcare supply chain organization seeking an Associate Business Operations Analyst to analyze operational data and expenses. The role supports supply chain cost reduction, process improvement, reporting, trend analysis, and cross-functional initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Review and analyze data to identify opportunities for improving efficiencies and divisional cost savings. Analyze and distribute reports daily, weekly, monthly - highlighting areas of opportunity for expense reduction
- Provide basic analysis and reporting by working with Inventory Management, Information Systems, Financial Audit, A/P and other such groups in the organization
- Identify future and/or past sales trends to assist in developing effective growth and expansion plans
- Organize plans and recommend basic analysis and reports
- Participate in cross functional teams and projects aimed at enhancing overall supply chain efficiency. Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve inventory practices
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using basic functions, inserting charts, Pivot Tables, nested formulas)
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
- Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
- Experience with SAP
