Associate / Analyst - Strategic Advisory (Private Capital Markets)

PJT Partners is a global advisory-focused investment bank seeking an Associate / Analyst for their Strategic Advisory group within the Private Capital Markets team. The role involves participating in the origination and execution of private capital and public equity transactions, including client-facing situations, transaction execution, and investor relationship management.

What you'll do:

• Active involvement in client-facing situations
• Assistance in the execution of transactions
• Assistance in deal structuring and term sheet negotiations
• Ongoing investor relationship development and management
• Constructing and managing internal deal and investor-related databases
• Drafting of client presentations and pitches
• Preparation of market updates
• Conducting financial and other business-related research
• Coordinating and helping manage complex and often time-sensitive processes
• Participation in talent development efforts, including recruiting
