Helmsman Management Services has an immediate opening for an Associate Business Analyst to join our dedicated account team supporting ADP TotalSource. This role is central to delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers and internal GRS partners, helping to showcase the best of Helmsman and drive meaningful value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Account Team on internal and external special project requests.
- Partner with Helmsman Claims Teams, the Claims Contact Center, and the Coverage Unit to validate customer data.
- Collaborate closely with customer contacts to enhance data validation processes and system training, helping to prevent security incidents.
- Manage data and report requests effectively while demonstrating strong proficiency across all relevant systems.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and resolving problems, and by developing, applying, and sharing new skills that benefit our customers.
- Maintain and continuously enhance standard work documentation used by Claims, Loss Recovery, and other support teams, ensuring materials remain accurate, current, and easy to understand.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, sound decision-making, customer focus, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, adaptable, courteous, dependable, and able to quickly and accurately learn and apply new information.
- Knowledge of the Workers' Compensation process is preferred but not required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to review, record, and organize written data from a variety of sources with no prescribed format.
- Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to adapt to new applications and technologies.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and tenacity — not satisfied with "good enough" explanations, and persistent in probing issues until problems are fully solved and understood.
- Comfortable manipulating, formatting, and interpreting data, with basic proficiency in applications such as Excel.
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
