Associate Business Systems Analyst

Federated Hermes, Inc., a global leader in active investing, is seeking an Associate Business Systems Analyst to join their Global Technology Office in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. The role involves providing business analysis support for the Information Security team, translating business objectives into functional requirements, and facilitating communication between various business areas.

What you'll do:

• Provide business analysis support as needed for Information Security business area
• Under direction, determine and document business objectives. Translate business objectives into documented business and functional requirements; ; solve technical and/or business problems and objectives
• Perform analysis, prepare functional specifications, and conduct functional testing for approved projects. Coordinate, review, and validate this work when prepared by project team members
• Facilitate the business/functional aspects of design, development, testing, implementation, and/or problem resolution
• Facilitate communication between Information Security, GTO and broader business areas regarding information technology and business initiatives
• Collaborate effectively across multiple functional areas to achieve desired results

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience; or other major with course work or assignments leveraging technology and / or relevant internship required
• Up to one year of business systems analysis experience required; which includes: proficiency with business analysis methodologies, such as requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation required
• One to two years of business systems analysis experience preferred
• Experience in Cyber Security and related Cyber technologies / applications preferred
• Knowledge of database-oriented analysis tools and techniques, especially SQL, is preferred
