About this role
The University of Dayton is seeking an Associate Data Analyst to support organizations within its Sustainment and Readiness Sector through data-driven innovation. The role analyzes advanced manufacturing process data, reports performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders, identifies key performance indicators, and provides actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity.
What you'll do:
- Support various organizations within the Sustainment and Readiness Sector of UDRI
- Support encompasses data analysis of advanced manufacturing process data to improve efficiency and offer solutions for increased productivity
- The candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, reporting performance metrics data to internal management and external clients, determining key performance indicators in current processes, and providing actionable recommendations
- In addition, this position will require the candidate to work in a team environment and provide strong staff support
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of business, data analytics, management information systems, or related
- 1+ years experience in data analytics
- Ability to identify, collect, analyze, and report performance metrics data to internal management and external clients
- Familiarity with key performance indicators in advanced manufacturing processes
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
- Capability to identify actionable recommendations for enhancing efficiency and productivity
- Exceptional proficiency with MS Excel
- Strong work ethic as a self-starting team player
- Established analytical and problem solving skills
- Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to multi task in a team environment
