About this role

The Associate Data & Reporting Analyst provides ownership of GuideStone Advisors ("GSA") operational reporting, analytics, and business intelligence in support of the GuideStone Advisors operations team. The role is responsible for evaluating current operational processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing reporting, automation, and workflow solutions that improve visibility into capacity, service levels, efficiency, advisor satisfaction, and performance metrics. What You'll Do: ## Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence: - Provide support of GSA operational reporting, analytics, and business intelligence. - Evaluate, improve and/or convert existing GSA Operations systems to Power BI and maintain them going forward. - Improve visibility into capacity, service levels, efficiency, advisor satisfaction, and performance metrics. - Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that support GSA Operations decision-making. - Support automation initiatives and strengthen data-driven decision making across the operations function. ## Advisory Operations Support: - Be cross-trained on other responsibilities within the GSA Operations team, including trading, portfolio operations, client onboarding, portfolio model maintenance/assignments, client reporting and billing. - Support portfolio accounting and reconciliation of data across internal and external systems as needed ## Learning & Development: - Pursue excellence by demonstrating continuous professional growth and developing proficiency in business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms. - Support the utilization of financial technology, tools, and methodology utilized by GSFS/GSA, especially for reporting and analytics needs. - Contribute to project teams representing the operational needs of GSFS/GSA as assigned. - Foster teamwork through clear communication, contributing to shared goals, following practical guidelines, and incorporating regular feedback that builds technical and analytical skills. - Learn and utilize relevant securities industry rules, issues, laws, and current events.What You'll Need: - 0-2 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field; basic skill set and proficiency. - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience; preferred degree in Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or equivalent. - Limited travel (0-10% of time). - Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational databases. - Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, including pivot tables, look-up functions, data analysis techniques, and data manipulation. - Exceptional accuracy and detail orientation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Interest in wealth management operations. - Basic understanding of data analysis techniques and reporting best practices. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to manage multiple assignments/projects simultaneously. - Effective written and oral communication skills. - Must have complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.
