Associate Electrical Engineer / Electronic Design Engineer

## Job Title: Associate Electrical Engineer / Electronic Design Engineer MOOG Space and Defense Group is a proven provider of high performance and reliable space-rated avionics hardware and software. Products include control and data handling, power distribution, payload interface cards, mass memory, GPS receivers, motor and actuation drivers and controllers, and onboard computing. The Engineering Associate position is an entry level individual contributor role within the Electrical Engineering team. The focus is to leverage the basic principles, theories and methods acquired through education and jobs / internships and apply these to analog, digital or power designs. ## Key Responsibilities: - Design Analog and high-speed digital circuits, including schematic capture and PCB layout specifications. - Collaborate across disciplines to define product requirements and deliver technical presentations. - Leverage modeling programs and tools to simulate circuits and interfaces and reduce design risks. - Document designs, analyses, and results with clear, concise reports. ## Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent. - Deep understanding of the basic principles of electrical / electronic engineering design – having worked with processors, digital logic, analog circuits, and basic power circuits. - Knowledge of board design (interface requirements), schematic creation, and digital simulation. - Strong communication skills and ability to produce technical documentation. - Experience with lab instrumentation (DMM, Oscilloscope, …) to perform troubleshooting (hands-on), board bring-up, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. - Problem solving skills. - Organization skills.
