Associate Financial Analyst

Dominion Energy is hiring an Associate Financial Analyst to support development and maintenance of the company’s consolidated budget and forecast, as well as corporate strategy. The role also provides financial analysis for investment decisions and supports cost-of-capital reviews, potential mergers and acquisitions, and special studies.

What you'll do:

• Supports development and maintenance of company's consolidated budget/forecast as well as corporate strategy
• Assists in development and monitoring of corporate strategy
• Supports budget development and consolidation process
• Provides analysis and presentation preparation in support of investment decisions going before Investment Review Committee
• Supports review, update and communication of cost of capital to be utilized for business and investment decisions
• Assists in identification, screening and analysis of potential merger and acquisition opportunities
• Supports department efforts to respond to requests for special studies on competitors, industry trends, etc

What they're looking for:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in directly related field
• Strong knowledge of financial management and analysis as well as knowledge of accounting standards and practices
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Power Point
• Good organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication
• Teaming, analytical and customer focus skills
• Good basic skills in project analysis and financial planning and analysis
• Aptitude for continuous learning
• Bachelor
• Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above
