We are seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to join our Facilities team in North Wilkesboro, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of a Maintenance Technician Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ

• Follow daily assignments regarding the maintenance of buildings and grounds, including painting, grounds care and lawn equipment maintenance.

• Keep accurate records for maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.

• Review daily work lists with Maintenance Supervisor at the end of each workday.

• Develop and improve skills in all aspects of building maintenance through participation in all approved training sessions.

• Maintain a safe work environment. Perform all work in a safe manner and follow all associated safety guidelines.

• Load and unload various equipment and supplies.

• Follow policies and procedures of Samaritan's Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual.

• Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, its donors and volunteers.

• Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the public.

• Other duties as assigned

What are the qualifications?

Serve with Excellence

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

• One-year certificate from college or technical school and three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Maintain a good driving record and a valid North Carolina driver's license
