Associate Product Manager, Core Experience

UGLYCASH is a financial services app serving creators, remote workers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs earning money online, with a focus on fintech and blockchain products. The Associate Product Manager will investigate customer and product issues, improve core financial product experiences, and progressively take ownership of increasingly complex product areas.

What you'll do:

• Stay close to support, customer feedback, and product data to understand where people struggle
• Investigate issues alongside engineers, understand the impact, trace the root cause, and determine what should happen next
• Take defined improvements from prioritization through implementation, verification, and measurement
• Identify recurring problems and improve the product flows, monitoring, systems, or internal tools behind them
• Use AI to accelerate investigation, analyze data, automate repetitive work, and prototype solutions while checking the quality of the output
• Build the judgment to own increasingly complex parts of the core experience independently over time
• First three months: Learn selected product flows, investigate real issues with guidance, and ship focused improvements
• Months 3–12: Increasingly own a defined part of the core experience, including its recurring issues, monitoring, and improvement work
• Months 12–24: Grow toward broader ownership across connected product flows and make the product more reliable at scale

What they're looking for:

• You don't need a previous PM title or banking experience
• We're looking for curiosity about how systems work, attention to detail, and the determination to close the loop
• You notice when something doesn't make sense and work toward an explanation
• You care about the person affected as much as the technical symptom
• Show us evidence that you've taken responsibility for a project, process, or problem and made it better
• That could come from operations, support, QA, engineering, a small business, coursework, or something you built independently
• You should be comfortable with data, willing to learn technical concepts, and clear about what you know versus what you still need to investigate
• You can prioritize, communicate a blocker, ask for help when you need it, and act on feedback
• You've used AI to produce something useful, whether that's an investigation, analysis, small tool, automation, prototype, or other concrete result
• You can explain how you checked whether the output was actually correct
• The ability to learn technical systems and work effectively with engineers matters more
• SQL, scripting, and experience with logs or APIs are useful foundations
