Associate Product Manager, New Products

UGLYCASH is a financial services app focused on increasing economic opportunity for creators, remote workers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs. The Associate Product Manager will work directly with founders to explore, validate, build, launch, and improve new financial products through customer research, experimentation, evidence-based decision-making, and cross-functional execution.

What you'll do:

• Talk to customers, study their behavior, and figure out which problems are worth solving
• Turn founder hypotheses into testable approaches and manageable first versions
• Bring evidence that strengthens an idea or changes it
• Use AI to research, analyze, prototype, and shorten the path from idea to useful learning
• Work closely with engineering and design to take ideas from concept through launch
• Measure what happens after something ships and use what you learn to make it better
• Build the judgment to own increasingly ambitious product opportunities over time

• We're looking for evidence of initiative, clear thinking, curiosity, and fast learning
• Show us something you've built, improved, or taken responsibility for
• You're curious about customers and the economics behind a product
• You're comfortable with numbers, can explain your reasoning, respond to feedback, and know when to ask for help
• Most importantly, you care whether an idea actually creates value for someone
• You've used AI to make something useful, whether that's a prototype, analysis, automation, tool, or other concrete result
• You can explain your choices, identify mistakes, and improve the output
• The ability to learn technical systems and work effectively with engineers matters more
• Coding and SQL are a plus
