About this role
myKaarma provides SaaS fixed operations solutions for the automotive industry, combining communication, scheduling, and payment tools for dealership service centers. The Associate Product Manager will own a defined payments product area, lead discovery and prioritization, and deliver software solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role also involves managing payments economics, measuring outcomes, and continuously improving the product.
What you'll do:
- Develop a deep understanding of customers through research, observation, data, and stakeholder feedback
- Clearly define customer problems and identify opportunities to improve the product
- Validate assumptions and solutions through customer insights, experimentation, and data
- Translate customer and business needs into prioritized product initiatives
- Evaluate solution options and make informed tradeoff decisions based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility
- Define clear product requirements, success metrics, and launch criteria
- Own initiatives from discovery through launch, measuring outcomes and continuously improving the product based on customer feedback and data
- Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality software
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Operations
- Communicate priorities, decisions, risks, and progress clearly to technical and business stakeholders
- Proactively identify dependencies, manage tradeoffs, and help teams stay aligned
- Independently own a defined product area with increasing autonomy, balancing short-term customer needs with long-term product health
What they're looking for:
- 1-3 years of experience in Product Management or a related role within SaaS or enterprise software. We will consider strong candidates from payment operations, implementation, solutions engineering, or business analysis where the work was substantively product work
- Demonstrated ability to deliver customer and business outcomes through cross-functional product development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-informed product decisions
- Experience defining product requirements, prioritizing work, and measuring success through product metrics
- Experience conducting customer interviews, usability testing, or other product discovery activities
- Proficiency with modern product, design, and AI-assisted tools to accelerate product discovery, communication, and execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving priorities
- Experience in automotive technology or enterprise SaaS ecosystems
- Familiarity with API platforms, developer experience, or integration frameworks
- Background in CX optimization, automation, or partner ecosystems
