Associate Production Scientist - Analytical Development

MilliporeSigma develops science and technology solutions across healthcare, life science, and electronics. The Associate Production Scientist - Analytical Development performs analytical testing in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment, executes and transfers analytical methods, maintains instrumentation, supports method development, and documents experimental outcomes.

What you'll do:

• Execute established analytical methods in support of process development or site production
• Transfer external or internal analytical methods into site QC / analytical development
• Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation
• Basic analytical method development supporting site operational needs
• Analytical representation at project meetings
• Maintain databases, document work for internal / external communication of experimental outcomes
• Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

What they're looking for:

• * Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline
• * High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of work experience in a chemical production, laboratory or chemical engineering role
• * 1+ years' experience in an industrial or academic chemical environment
• * Experience with chemical measurement technologies such as IC, HPLC, GC, NMR, IR and wet chemistry
• * Experience with safe chemical handling
• * Experience with ISO or GMP requirements
• * Experience with writing experimental procedures and reports
