Michels Underground Cable, Inc. is one of the most trusted underground line and duct bank contractors in the United States. As an Associate Project Manager, you will support project management by planning and organizing project activities, ensuring compliance, and optimizing performance.

What you'll do:

  • Serving as project support by planning, organizing, and implementing project management principles
  • Demonstrating an understanding of how the business runs, how changing circumstances are handled, and who to contact when there are questions
  • Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working independently and as a part of a team, meeting deadlines, and anticipating and meeting internal customer needs
  • Assisting on essential project duties including cost and labor tracking, material submittals, subcontractor management, contract compliance, etc. that will optimize performance, productivity, and reduce costs

What they're looking for:

  • 1-3 years of experience in utilities, project management, and/or construction management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
