Associate Research/Data Analyst (4214079)

The State of Missouri’s Department of Health & Senior Services supports public health programs and initiatives across the state. The Associate Research/Data Analyst will collect, manage, and analyze data for the Dental Health Program and Public Health Infrastructure Grant evaluation, developing reports and visualizations and providing recommendations to improve health outcomes.

What you'll do:

• Collect, clean, and manage data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for program evaluation and reporting
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform public health strategies
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings clearly to program managers and stakeholders
• Collaborate with program teams to understand data needs and provide actionable recommendations for improving health outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline data processes and enhance analytic capabilities

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in public health, data science, statistics, or a related field
• 0-2 years relevant job experience
• Ability to work perform basic queries and analyze data
• Knowledge of basic research methods & analysis
• Experience with Tableau helpful, but not required
