Associate Research/Data Analyst (MVDL)

Department of Revenue

Location: Truman Building - 301 West High Street, Jefferson City, MO. 

This position is in-seat 5 days a week. Remote work is not available.

HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

This position provides technical and professional work in the support of Driver License Bureau systems and analysis. If you enjoy using your analysis skills and communicating and guiding others, then you will love this position.

Responsibilities - What you’ll do

DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

This description may not include all of the duties, knowledge, skills, or abilities associated with this title.

  • Provide support for driver license issuance and withdrawal programs and work with information technology staff and other agencies as needed to design, test, and implement required program upgrades
  • Complete analysis of proposed and enacted legislation and other requests to determine system impacts, procedural impacts, and fiscal analysis
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to assist other government agencies and to assist and support citizens and businesses in Missouri
  • Direct and train internal and external customers, which may include formal presentations
  • Conduct onsite and documentation audits to evaluate adherence to program standards and verify operational compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with other agencies to ensure consistent oversight and compliance with the Third‑Party Tester Program.
  • Some travel is required to support onsite audit activities.

Qualifications - All you need for success

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a closely related field such as: Business or Public Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management

and,

One or more years of professional experience analyzing operations and developing improved managerial procedures and practices.

Additional Requirements:

This position requires the candidate to work independently, have good organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and be able to prioritize duties and adjust as priorities change.
