ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Global Shop Solutions is an ERP software company serving small to mid-sized manufacturers across various industries. The Associate Software Engineer will contribute to production software, internal tools, and workflows while using AI-assisted development tools, collaborating with experienced engineers, and growing toward a Software Engineer role.

What you'll do:

• Contribute to design, implementation, testing, and code review, using AI-assisted tools responsibly in everyday development
• Experiment with AI use cases, surface opportunities and limitations in team adoption, and help improve workflows and documentation
• Communicate progress and blockers clearly, ask clarifying questions, and collaborate effectively with the team

What they're looking for:

• Authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship
• CS degree or equivalent practical experience (portfolio, internships, or professional work)
• Programming fundamentals and independent project experience
• AI-forward mindset: experience using AI tools to build projects or automations, with curiosity about where AI helps and where it does not
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Source control
• Basic SQL
• .NET or enterprise software exposure
