Our ideal Software Developer Interns have application development knowledge and a strong interest in planning, analysis, detailed design, coding, testing, implementation, and support of components across various platforms. ## Responsibilities - Build creative technical solutions to tackle complex problems within the business. - Assist in application development, including AI, HTML, JavaScript, data design, and analytics. - Work within a diverse team of skillsets and experience levels to deliver solutions using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. - Utilize knowledge of planning, analysis, detailed design, coding, and testing to support implementation across various platforms. - Become knowledgeable about and apply Thrivent’s processes and standards for the development and deployment of software applications. - Perform day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of software assets under the direct supervision of an employee partner or mentor. ## Position Requirements - Current junior in an undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, or MIS, with a December 2027 through May 2028 graduation date. - Proven history of excellent academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. - Disciplined, with strong personal management and organization skills. - High technical aptitude. - Strong problem identification and analytical skills. - Well-developed written and oral communication skills. - Proven teammate with high technical capability. - Available to intern full-time during normal business hours. - Ability to work in the United States for an indefinite period without sponsorship. ## Additional Program Information - Competitive compensation. - Full intern event program including development, networking, and social activities. ## Location Remote.
