About this role
Precisely is a data integrity company that provides software, data enrichment products, and strategic services to help businesses make confident decisions. The Associate Python Developer (AI) will help build scalable Python-based AI applications, implement features, write documented code, participate in reviews, troubleshoot issues, and support testing and CI/CD under the guidance of experienced developers.
What you'll do:
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based AI applications
- Work with team members to understand requirements and implement features
- Learn to use Pydantic for defining and validating data models
- Write clean, well-documented code with guidance
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
- Help troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues
- Support testing and CI/CD processes

- Precisely is an AI-first organization. All employees are expected to demonstrate proficiency in applying AI tools to accelerate their work, improve output quality, and eliminate low-value tasks
- Candidates should be comfortable using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) in their day-to-day workflows, able to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically, and open to continuously adopting new AI capabilities as they emerge
- This position is 100% remote anywhere in the US
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or similar
- At least 1 years experience building enterprise level software
- Good knowledge of Python programming
- Eagerness to learn about the Python ecosystem, frameworks, and libraries
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and REST APIs
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to take initiative and accept feedback
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
- Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and AI coding harnesses such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot
