Athletics Human Resources Coordinator

The University of Michigan is a higher education institution with a collegiate athletics environment. The Athletics Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative and project support across HR functions, including employee lifecycle processes, records management, communications, onboarding, offboarding, HR systems, and department-wide initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Athletics Human Resources team
• Maintain organized and accurate employee records, employment documentation, contracts, and other confidential HR materials
• Assist with HR-related correspondence, communications, and follow-up with employees and department contacts
• Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and other employment-related processes as needed
• Assist with employment transactions and HR system processes, including select Personnel Action Requests (PARs) and other routine updates
• Support department-wide HR programs, events, and initiatives, including communications, participation tracking, and event logistics
• Assist with gathering, organizing, and tracking information to support HR projects, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
