#Automotive Experience Platform - Engineer

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is a technology company developing solutions for next-generation connected experiences and digital transformation. The Software Engineer will design, develop, validate, debug, and integrate software applications for automotive concept demonstrations, prototypes, and showcase experiences while collaborating with cross-functional and partner teams.

What you'll do:

• Contribute to the design, development, modification, validation, and debugging of embedded, Android, edge, and utility software applications under the guidance of senior engineers
• Implement and integrate software features that support automotive concept demonstrations, prototype experiences, and customer or trade show showcases
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements, clarify technical expectations, and select appropriate implementation approaches for assigned tasks
• Support coding, unit testing, debugging, issue resolution, and integration activities to help ensure project deliverables meet specifications and schedules
• Use software tools and debugging techniques to analyze system behavior, identify issues, improve quality, and support performance optimization
• Collaborate with team members, platform owners, UI/UX teams, and partner teams to complete assigned work and support demo readiness
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for software features, integration steps, issues, and validation results

What they're looking for:

• • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• * Strong programming fundamentals in languages such as C/C++, Java, Kotlin, or Python
• * Familiarity with Android, Linux, Windows, or QNX operating systems
• * Understanding of basic software design, development, debugging, testing, and integration practices
• * Familiarity with source version control, issue tracking, and collaborative software development workflows
• * Strong written and verbal communication skills
• * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
• * Experience with embedded software debugging tools is a plus
• * Familiarity with automotive, IoT, Qt, or user experience technologies is a plus
• * Interest in using AI-assisted tools as part of the software development life cycle is a plus
