Avionics Engineering Intern (Fall 2026)

Rendezvous Robotics is a company focused on solving the constraints of spacecraft design with innovative modular components. They are seeking an Avionics Engineering Intern to support various aspects of power electronics design and onboard electronics development.

What you'll do:

• Support design and review of power electronics, including battery management and protection circuits
• Work on PCB design for onboard electronics
• Help analyze cross-domain fault behavior and edge cases in the power system
• Support power distribution and bus architecture work across internal interfaces
• Assist with bring-up and debug of avionics hardware on the bench

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Coursework or project experience in power electronics or analog/digital circuit design
• Familiarity with PCB design tools (KiCad, Altium, or similar)
• Experience with gate drivers, DC-DC converters, or battery management systems
• Understanding of isolated sensing or isolated power architectures
• Exposure to embedded firmware for hardware bring-up
• Experience debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other bench equipment
