Bachelors - Electrical Engineering Intern (Summer 2027!)

CDM Smith is an engineering and consulting company serving public, federal, and industrial clients. The company is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support electrical engineering projects, including drafting, calculations, distribution design, and construction services.

What you'll do:

• Developing drawings for electrical systems (power, controls, communications, fire alarm, and security) using CADD
• Performing electrical calculations using systems analyses software (lighting, load, voltage drop, etc.)
• Assisting in the development of electrical distribution design plans and single line diagrams
• Reviewing shop drawings and assist with general construction services

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology or realted discipline with an interest in power systems and/or electrical distribution
• 10% or less
