Back End Developer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Back End Developer to build user-focused software solutions in an agile environment. The role involves developing Java-based enterprise applications, designing and integrating back-end frameworks and APIs, analyzing architectural environments, and implementing system improvements.

• Using your software engineering expertise, you’ll analyze the environment to ensure that your team’s solutions consider the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements
• You’ll sharpen your skills as you master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements

• Experience using Java to build enterprise products and applications
• Experience with back-end frameworks such as Spring or Quarkus
• Experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD
• Experience working in a team environment
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 3 months of hire date
• Experience with AI or ML pipelines and processes
• Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) software patterns to ingest large and complex datasets
• Experience with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working with geospatial tools and datasets
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
