Back-End Developer

Flare Services, LLC is seeking a Back-End Developer to design, implement, and maintain server-side applications and services. The role works with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements and supports application performance, scalability, security, and database management.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure back-end applications
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement data storage solutions and manage database systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal functionality
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to apply best practices in development

What they're looking for:

• Proficiency in server-side languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js
• Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
