Backend Developer Intern

UR Technology and Computers is an IT solutions provider specializing in custom software development, digital transformation, and scalable enterprise architecture. The Backend Developer Intern will gain practical experience designing server architectures, developing secure APIs, managing SQL databases, optimizing backend performance, and writing unit tests under senior mentorship.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain server-side application logic using Node.js and Express
• Design database tables, indexes, and queries in PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Build RESTful API endpoints and implement token-based (JWT) authentication
• Optimize server response times, caching (Redis), and handle server errors gracefully
• Write unit tests for critical API routes and database transactions

What they're looking for:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical disciplines
• Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and HTTP protocols
• Solid foundation in SQL databases and relational data modeling
• Familiarity with Postman, Git, and basic Linux commands
