Backend Node Developer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Backend Node Developer to support the development of user-focused software solutions for clients. The role involves identifying risks, developing custom tools and systems, designing APIs and databases, and creating scalable applications using Node.js, container technologies, and modern architectural approaches.

What you'll do:

• Designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods
• Software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
• Node Express or NestJS backend development
• Database Design, including MongoDB or SQL
• Container and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Engaging with customers to interpret requirements and architect solutions

What they're looking for:

• 1+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods
• 1+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
• 1+ years of experience with Node Express or NestJS backend development
• Experience with Database Design, including MongoDB or SQL
• Experience with container and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience engaging with customers to interpret requirements and architect solutions
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Secret clearance is required
• Experience with programming in modern JavaScript frameworks, such as VueJS, React, or Angular
• Experience integrating AI into development practices
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
