Schedule:

• Position is 2-5 hours per week at $15.00 per hour (varies per week). Expectation to support 2-4 evening or special events over the academic year.

Qualifications:

Applicants should:

• Preference will be given to current UW-Madison undergraduate students enrolled in either the Pre-Nursing or TBSN-1 track.
• Interest in community building, student engagement, inclusion, or health equity.
• Ability to work 2-5 hours per week during the academic year.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team.

• Organized and willing to accept feedback.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

As a Belonging & Engagement Student Associate, you may:

• Assist with Belonging & Engagement programs, events, and activities.
• Serve as a peer ambassador to help welcome and connect students to School of Nursing inclusion and belonging resources and opportunities.
• Share ideas and feedback to help strengthen student belonging and engagement initiatives.
• Assist with outreach, communications, and event promotion.
• Provide administrative support, such as drafting emails, organizing materials, and helping track projects.
• Collaborate with Belonging & Engagement staff on special projects as assigned.
