About this role
Chowbus is hiring a Bilingual Early Talent Recruiter to build campus recruiting and manage full-cycle GTM hiring, with a focus on early-career sales talent. The role develops university and student-community pipelines, coordinates recruiting events and candidate experiences, and partners with Sales leadership and Marketing on hiring strategy and employer branding.
What you'll do:
- Build and own campus recruiting across U.S. and Canadian universities, focused on early-career sales talent
- Own full-cycle recruiting for GTM roles across the U.S. and Canada, including Sales Managers, Sales Associates, POS Technicians, and more, from sourcing and outreach to interview scheduling and offer
- Grow Chowbus's presence in Chinese student communities: Chinese Students and Scholars Associations (CSSAs), Chinese and Asian student associations, alumni networks, WeChat groups, and career centers
- Own our Handshake presence: manage our employer profile, secure school approvals, post jobs, run virtual fairs and info sessions, and engage students through Handshake messaging
- Source creatively across Handshake, LinkedIn, Indeed, WeChat, Xiaohongshu (RED), North American Chinese job and community platforms, and anywhere else candidates gather
- Create recruiting content in Chinese and English, including posts, posters, and short videos, that students actually want to read and share
- Partner with Marketing on employer branding, including recruiting posters, copy, short videos, and online campaigns
- Plan and run campus events, info sessions, and career fairs, in person and online
- Build a campus ambassador network to extend our reach at target schools
- Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and deliver a fast, warm experience from first touch to offer
- Coordinate across time zones with our recruiting team in China and with hiring managers to keep every hiring process moving efficiently
- Build and maintain a talent pool to support ongoing sales hiring
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree
- Recent graduates and early-career professionals are both welcome
- 0–2 years in recruiting, campus ambassador programs, student organization leadership, community building, sales, or similar
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, written and spoken
- Strong command of WeChat and Xiaohongshu (RED), including community management and creating content that gets engagement
- Comfortable with LinkedIn and Handshake for outreach and job search
- Familiarity with the job search process for students, including work authorization questions international students face
- Organized with data: able to track pipelines in Google Sheets or Excel
- With a major in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
- Existing connections with student organizations at U.S. or Canadian universities is a strong plus
- Bonus: Canva or CapCut, an ATS such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, virtual event platforms, or AI tools for content creation
Benefits:
- Visa sponsorship available; OPT candidates welcome
- Hybrid: 2–3 days per week in our Chicago office
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k)
- 100% employer-paid Short-Term Disability (STD)
- 100% employer-paid Life Insurance and option for additional employee-paid Life Insurance
- 100% employer-paid Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance and option for additional employee-paid AD&D Insurance
- Company holidays

- Paid Parental Leave
