About this role
Flat Irons Flex Care is a home care agency focused on caregiver-first, patient-centered care. The Recruiter & HR Onboarding Coordinator will recruit, screen, onboard, and support caregivers while maintaining accurate personnel records and coordinating staffing and administrative processes.
What you'll do:
- Recruit and screen potential caregivers
- Conduct phone screenings and assist with scheduling interviews
- Review applications and resumes and assist with identifying qualified candidates
- Coordinate caregiver interviews and follow up with applicants
- Assist with the onboarding process for newly hired caregivers
- Collect, review, and maintain required employee documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date caregiver personnel files and information
- Assist with background checks, reference checks, and employment verification
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating caregiver assignments based on patient needs and caregiver availability
- Help address staffing needs, including caregiver call-outs and changes in availability
- Communicate professionally and consistently with caregivers and patients
- Assist with confirming completed visits in HHA Exchange, EVV, or similar systems
What they're looking for:
- * **Bilingual Spanish-speaking required**
- * At least **1 year of home care experience required**
- * Strong organizational and time-management skills
- * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- * Professional, dependable, and solution-focused
- * Ability to remain calm and respectful when handling staffing or employee concerns
- * Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- * Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
- * Comfortable working in a fast-paced home care environment
- * Passion for helping people and supporting both caregivers and clients
- **Home care: 1 year required**
