Provide general admin/office support.
Responsibilities
Student to work as a peer academic advisor duties include but are not limited to responding to student inquiries, maintaining detailed and accurate advising notes, identifying current and potential needs of a student and referring student to the appropriate faculty advisor. Maintains student files and records; documents all pertinent student information. Assists students with registration/provides guidance in course selection. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Head of Faculty, Academic Advising Center and faculty advisers. Assist in developing and giving presentations to students at campus-wide advising events including New Student Orientation. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn support process. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
