DEPARTMENT: Board of Directors Office
JOB SUMMARY: The Board Affairs Executive Manager will either be assigned to the Service or Business Committee to support the Board of Directors by providing administrative support, research, communications, and public relations outreach. This position requires flexibility to shift tasks and focus as needed to support current Tribal Government Leadership.
COMPENSATION: $DOE
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Political Science, Public Administration, Communications or related field. *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Four (4) years of experience providing executive level of administrative support.
- Four (4) years of public relations, social media, communications, or related field.
- Four (4) years of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
- Four (4) years of experience working with Native Americans and their Tribal Governments.
SKILLS TESTING
- Correspondence
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- Must be an enrolled Tulalip Tribal Member.
- WA State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
- Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations. (Abstract Required)
- Obtain and maintain Notary Public certificate. *Will allow six (6) months to obtain.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a Contracted position.
