About this role
Spirit AeroSystems, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, designs and builds commercial aerostructures for the aerospace industry. The paid summer intern will support Information Digital Technology & Security initiatives by analyzing business and technical needs, supporting applications and systems, improving data and reporting, assisting with infrastructure or cybersecurity activities, and collaborating on technology solutions.
What you'll do:
- Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S). Spirit Commercial’s IDT&S organization enables the digital tools, infrastructure, data, security, and technology services that support aerospace engineering and manufacturing. Interns may help analyze business and technical needs, support applications and systems, improve data and reporting, assist with infrastructure or cybersecurity activities, and work with cross-functional teams to implement reliable technology solutions
- Application, systems, or business analysis
- Data analytics and reporting
- Cybersecurity, infrastructure, or network support
- Digital product and project support
What they're looking for:
- • Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree program
- • Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027
- • Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
- • Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
- • Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
- • Majoring in one of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields
- • The ability to relocate and work onsite
