About this role
Spirit AeroSystems, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, designs and builds commercial aerostructures and supports Boeing’s commercial aerospace operations. The internship provides hands-on experience in Information Digital Technology & Security, with assignments involving software, systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics, digital products, or technology project management in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
What you'll do:
- Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S). Spirit Commercial’s IDT&S organization provides technology solutions that connect people, data, applications, and manufacturing operations. Interns may support one or more teams working in software, systems analysis, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital products, data analytics, or technology project management while learning how enterprise technology supports a complex aerospace manufacturing environment
- Software and application support
- Systems, network, or infrastructure support
- Cybersecurity and information protection
- Data analytics, reporting, and digital product support
What they're looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027
- Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
- Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
- Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
- Majoring in one of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields
- The ability to relocate and work onsite
