About this role
MTSI is seeking a Bomber Survivability Analyst to support AFGSC in advancing bomber survivability, low‑observable operations, and modernization efforts aligned with current SECAF and Department of Warfighting priorities. The location of this position is Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, LA.
Key Responsibilities
• Track and assess bomber survivability capabilities, mission gaps, and modernization needs.
• Support CONOPS/CONEMPS development and current Air Force capability‑development processes.
• Contribute to PPBE planning, prioritization, and POM development.
• Evaluate survivability impacts of systems, LO operations, and mission planning tools.
• Support defining and coordinating DT/OT requirements for advanced programs.
• Provide operational insight to IFC/OFP development, testing, and fielding.
• Coordinate with WSTs, SPOs, and other stakeholders on modernization and integration activities.
• Identify and help resolve system deficiencies affecting survivability.
• Represent AFGSC at technical meetings, acquisition forums, and advanced program reviews.
• Travel as required to support program and test activities.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Experience in LO aircraft operations, tactics, and mission planning.
• Understanding of current DoD/DAF capability development and acquisition frameworks.
• Experience across acquisition phases from MSA through operational test and fielding.
• Minimum 18 months SAP experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Desired Qualifications
• Previous mission-ready crewmember for bomber or fighter aircraft.
• USAF Weapons School, flight test, or similar advanced operational background.
• Experience with capability development documents, CONOPS development, and PPBE planning.
• Electronic warfare/survivability experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
Clearance
• Active TS/SCI with recent investigation (within five years).
• Polygraph and drug testing may be required.
Travel
Ability to travel monthly.
US Citizenship is required.
