Booker

The mission of the Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Booker is to be responsible for accurately coding technicians’ completed repair jobs into Netstar Operational System, so MBM dealership /Service Department can be compensated for labor and parts, and M-B manufacturer has data for product knowledge and analysis.

Responsibilities

The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Booker must provide a consistently outstanding brand and customer experience through consistently outstanding preparation, attitude, and teamwork.

• Calculate time it takes to complete a specific job and verify appropriate parts are used and that labor recorded on R.O. corresponds with services rendered.
• Assist Warranty Administrator with daily sales compliance review and self-compliance review.
• Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility according to applicable policies and procedure manuals.
• Maintain KPI within green/yellow standard.
• Build damage code and insert into warranty claims after booking to prepare claim for proper submission to warranty company.
• Assist in review of warranty claims returned and/or rejected and prepare the repair order for resubmission.
• Contact appropriate warranty claims rep regarding claims requiring special authorization.
• Provide warranty coverage and policy information to technicians, service advisors, and other dealership personnel.
• Provide cash estimates for labor for technicians and service advisors.
• Act as a liaison between technicians and service advisors.
• Look up any LI’s, DTB’s, and Campaigns documents that may be
• related to repair.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Able to commute into and out of Manhattan/New York City on a daily basis.

 

• High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years’ in Automotive Service and experience in booking, warranty or billing.
