Build For Growth Engineer I (Process or Electrical) Job Details | Amrize

Amrize is hiring a new graduate engineer for its Ravena cement plant, with a focus in either process or electrical engineering. The role supports plant operational improvements, process controls, electrical maintenance and projects, and includes participation in a 14-month cement manufacturing learning and development program.

What you'll do:

• Analyze operations of the Plant and make recommendations for process improvement including Cost/Benefit Analysis
• Develop process control automation and computer applications for process control
• Prepare computer reports on the process of operating efficiencies and failure investigation tests
• Perform tests on operating plant systems to determine the efficiencies of the equipment
• Provide assistance to management in maintain the Plant within environmental and quality performance regulations
• Training shift supervisors for SAP reporting and TIS
• Responsible for New System Implementation (eg. TIS)
• Perform ISO Audits and involved with Month End activity reporting
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors
• Practice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Will be responsible for programming including CTI PLCs, Ifix HMI, Kiln High Level Control, Mill High Level Control
• Will be responsible for network maintenance and IT internal support for servers, switches, virtual programming

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
