Building Electrical Engineering Intern - Summer 2027

Wight & Company is an architecture, engineering, and construction firm seeking a Summer Intern to join its Electrical Engineering group in the Darien office. The intern will support engineering teams in design processes, collaborate with architects and construction managers, attend meetings, develop client relations, and contribute to project completion.

What you'll do:

• Work with Junior and Senior Engineers to develop creative solutions to challenges in the design processes
• Expand upon existing technical and computer skills to aid with day-to-day activities
• Attend team and client meetings in-house and on-site
• Develop and maintain strong internal and external client relations
• Provide meaningful contributions to project advancement and completion

What they're looking for:

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong communication skills
• Good organization and computer skills
• Openness to learn and have fun
• Revit building information modelling experience preferred
