Buildings Electrical Engineering Intern

Garver is an employee-owned engineering, planning, and environmental services firm focused on various sectors including buildings. They are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in building design, specifically in power, lighting, and communications systems.

What you'll do:

• Work alongside and be mentored by experienced building design professionals and industry leaders
• Learn about building power, lighting, and communications systems
• Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry
• Engage daily with fellow Garver Launch interns and industry professionals to build your network
• Participate in Garver's acclaimed wellness program, empowering you to prioritize your overall well-being
• Give back to your community through volunteer activities as part of our Garver Gives initiative
• Enhance your professional growth by collaborating with Garver's Learning and Development team, which offers tailored training and programs, including skills-based courses, designed to support your development
• Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required

What they're looking for:

• Must be pursuing an electrical engineering degree or an architectural engineering degree with an electrical focus from an ABET accredited program
• Strong desire to pursue a career in building systems engineering
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Revit
