Bus Monitor/Education Support Floater

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our Head Start team as a
Bus Monitor/ Education Support Floater.
As a Bus Monitor/ Education Support you will accompany the bus driver to pick up and
take home all children assigned to the route. Also to provide support to classrooms
where a high need has been identified and at times substitute as needed.

Duties:
* Monitor student behavior and ensure compliance with bus rules and regulations.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and bus drivers.
* Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
* Educate students on proper bus conduct and safety procedures.
* Provide support to students with special needs or disabilities.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and incidents during bus rides.
* Assist Teacher and Teacher assistant when needed in classrooms.
* Assist in cleaning classroom and equipment.

Skills:
* Strong behavior management skills to effectively handle challenging situations on
   the bus.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and school staff.
* Experience working with children, particularly in a classroom or childcare setting.
* Knowledge of special education practices and techniques for supporting students
   with disabilities beneficial.
