Business Analyst

NOVALINK SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to support Department of Justice modernization initiatives within the PPMO. The role focuses on eliciting and documenting business needs, supporting solution assessment, testing, training, implementation, and stakeholder collaboration.

What you'll do:

• Gather information via interviews, workshops, document reviews, and research; translate findings into process diagrams, user stories, business rules, and functional descriptions; help maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Draft and maintain currentstate/futurestate process maps, SOPs, requirements summaries, and system documentation using approved templates and consistent terminology
• Prepare UAT test cases, participate in execution, document results, and communicate findings for review and resolution
• Contribute to enduser training materials and “trainthetrainer” sessions; observe workflow impacts, gather user feedback, and share insights to support adoption and continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned to support program objectives and timelines

What they're looking for:

• Experience supporting largescale modernization programs or enterprise initiatives; familiarity with data governance/privacy/security practices
• Project/change management and facilitation skills (workshops, consensusbuilding)
• Background working with relational or cloudbased data platforms; ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
