Business Analyst

NVision IT is a minority owned, SBA 8(a), and ISO 9001-2015 Certified professional IT consulting firm. They are seeking a Business Analyst to conduct operational and procedural analysis of systems, collaborate with business units and technology teams, and gather requirements to support federal projects.

What you'll do:

• Conduct operational and procedural analysis of systems to define business and system requirements that meet key business objectives
• Collaborate with the business units and technology teams to identify, assess, and solve business problems
• Gather requirements and translate business and design requirements into technical requirements
• Research existing business and system processes and develop as-is process flows
• Provide support documentation for meetings with business and stakeholders to develop an understanding of their operations and requirements
• Basic knowledge of project management principles, such as scope, deliverables, timeline and cost/benefits
• Basic knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of performance analysis (trending, root cause and gap analysis) and benchmarking
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Basic analytical skills and understanding interpreting customer business needs

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
