Business Analyst I - IT Asset Management

TSP Talent is seeking a Business Analyst I - IT Asset Management to support administration of IT hardware assets in ServiceNow HAM. The role focuses on accurate asset tracking, data integrity, lifecycle transactions, reporting, compliance, and resolving asset-related issues with cross-functional teams and vendors.

What you'll do:

• Maintain asset and CMDB data accuracy through data entry, updates, and validation
• Support inventory reconciliation, physical audits, and resolve asset discrepancies
• Assist in developing and documenting IT hardware standards and streamlining procurement processes
• Execute hardware lifecycle transactions, including receiving, tagging, transfers, and disposals
• Generate reports and dashboards to track asset utilization and lifecycle status
• Support governance, compliance activities, and audit preparations
• Aid in hardware discovery and integration updates to ensure accurate asset records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve asset-related issues

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's in IT, Business, STEM, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years in IT Asset Management or related roles
• Knowledge of IT hardware, peripherals, and lifecycle standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical tools
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail, flexibility, effective stakeholder communication, and ability to work independently and in teams
• Experience with ServiceNow HAM
• Certifications such as ServiceNow HAM Fundamentals or ITIL are advantageous
