Business Analyst Intern

Spot Freight is a logistics company dedicated to providing innovative solutions for their partners. They are seeking a Business Analyst Intern to support the Senior Business Analyst in gathering and documenting business needs for internal projects and system improvements.

What you'll do:

• Assist with creating and maintaining business requirements, process documentation, meeting notes, and project materials
• Create, review, and update business process workflows
• Attend project meetings and document key decisions, questions, and action items
• Work with developers to clarify business requirements and answer business-related questions
• Participate in user interviews and requirements-gathering sessions
• Help identify gaps, unclear processes, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist with translating business needs into clear requirements or development tickets
• Support testing and validation to confirm that completed work meets the documented business requirements

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and comfortable managing documentation and meeting notes
• Able to ask thoughtful questions and communicate with both business and technical teams
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Familiarity with process mapping, requirements gathering, or software development is helpful but not required
