Business Analyst

PFS is seeking a Business Analyst to support the PFS Business Unit.  Based in Allen, TX, the Business Analyst will be a key contributor to the Planning and Analysis team and will interact with local and remote personnel to provide analytical support.

The ideal candidate understands business processes and can actively engage in reporting and dashboards that help drive leadership decisions.  The Business Analyst should have strong PC skills and proficiency with spreadsheet programs, such as MS Excel. The Business Analyst must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to summarize and present complex financial data in an organized, concise manner. They must be able to work independently and have the ability to interact with coworkers and multiple levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly Audits of invoicing and prepare timely analysis
• Develop and/or coordinate regular internal reports; revise and update reports and furnish external reports as necessary.
• Partner with business owners on financial trend analysis
• Define & implement invoicing best practices
• Analyze actual & budgeted financial metrics & drive awareness on variances
• Implement tracking mechanism to measure speed & quality of invoicing processes
• Analysis, and interpretation of accounting and financial information
• Communicates audit/review findings to leadership
• Perform other duties and ad hoc reporting as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting, required
• 0-3+ years’ experience working in a financial role, preferably with experience working in Financial Planning and Analysis, required
• 2+ years experience Moderate to Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, required
• Visual Basic or SQL programming experience, preferred
