Business Analytics & Process Improvement Graduate Summer Intern

Centene Management Company LLC is hiring a Business Analytics & Process Improvement Graduate Summer Intern to support its Vendor IT Governance team. The intern will analyze processes and operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to reporting, governance, and cross-functional projects.

What you'll do:

• Include collecting and analyzing operational data, developing dashboards and reports, documenting business processes, identifying trends and root causes, supporting continuous improvement projects, and assisting with project management and governance activities
• Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities
• Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects
• Communicate project status and results to staff mentors and management
• Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry
• Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

What they're looking for:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent undergraduate coursework completed
• Must be enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited university or college in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period
• Pursuing Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
